Overcoming digital roadblocks in a growing business, Ripples Bathrooms—a luxury bathroom installation specialist in Dublin—had earned a strong reputation for designing and installing premium bathrooms, en-suites, wet rooms, and mobility solutions. As the business expanded, their investment in Google Ads grew, revealing a significant challenge: their website was limiting the effectiveness of their paid advertising. Despite a robust ad budget, they faced low click-through rates and lower leads than anticipated.
Task
Vroom’s mission was to help Ripples Bathrooms maximise their existing Google Ads investment by addressing the poor performance of their website. We needed to boost their conversion rates, lower their cost per lead, and increase the volume of actionable leads. The task didn’t end at improving their Paid Social; we knew their website needed to be rebuilt to truly optimise their digital presence. Our initial focus was to test landing pages as a stopgap solution, while we worked with the SEO team to plan a complete website rebuild, set for launch in Q4 2024.
Approach
Recognising that Ripples Bathrooms’ existing website was not optimised for conversions, we took swift action to design custom landing pages tailored for their PPC campaigns. These landing pages were built with multi-step forms, ensuring seamless functionality across mobile, desktop, and tablet devices. This initial phase of testing was critical in delivering immediate improvements in performance while we simultaneously planned for a comprehensive website rebuild.
Utilising machine learning and advanced analytics, we conducted ongoing tests to refine the landing pages further. By analysing visitor behaviour and using Google Ads’ algorithm, we gained valuable insights into how to better target and convert high-quality traffic. These data-driven refinements allowed us to optimise performance at every step of the customer journey, laying the groundwork for consistent improvement.
While the landing page optimisations brought short-term gains, we knew the long-term success hinged on addressing the outdated website. Our SEO team worked alongside the PPC efforts to plan a full website rebuild, slated for delivery in Q4 2024. This rebuild was designed to improve site structure, enhance SEO performance, and significantly upgrade the user experience—ensuring that the new site would be fully optimised for conversions across all digital channels.
We maintained an agile approach throughout the process, delivering rapid adjustments to the landing pages and adapting to new data insights in real time. By shifting the focus to actionable leads, rather than vanity metrics, we improved tracking accuracy and continuously refined the Google Ads campaigns. This meant we could consistently drive high-quality leads, resulting in more meaningful conversions.
Our communication with Ripples Bathrooms was clear and transparent, supported by comprehensive monthly and quarterly reports. These in-depth reports provided actionable insights that not only optimised the ongoing campaigns but also informed strategic decisions for the website rebuild. This continuous flow of data allowed us to stay aligned with Ripples’ goals while ensuring every opportunity for growth was captured.
The entire project was led by a highly skilled cross-functional team, bringing together expertise in PPC, SEO, and eCommerce. Drawing on experience from similar accounts, we ensured that Ripples Bathrooms benefited from cutting-edge strategies and industry innovations, giving them a competitive edge in the luxury bathroom market.
